What is actually holdingyour business back?

Thirty minutes on how your business really runs. We find the one thing capping everything else, and I tell you plainly whether technology can widen it. No charge, and no obligation afterwards.

The practical outcome

Every business has one thing capping the rest.

More marketing does not help if quotes take three days to go out. A faster website does not help if the phone already rings and nobody can answer it. The expensive mistake is spending money on the part that was never the problem, and it is a hard mistake to see from the inside. Thirty minutes of the right questions usually makes it obvious.

What you walk away with

One bottleneck, named, and what to do about it.

Specific to your business, not a generic checklist. Useful whether you hire me or hand it to someone else entirely.

The one bottleneck doing the most damage right now

Most owners have a hunch, and it is often the wrong one. Half the value is finding out that the thing you were about to spend money on was not the problem.

Two or three ways to widen it, cheapest and easiest first

Ranked by what they cost you in money and disruption, not by what would be most interesting to build.

A straight answer on whether technology is the fix

Sometimes it is a website, an automation, or a tool that does not exist yet. Sometimes it is a hire, a price, or a process. I will tell you which.

A short written summary you keep

Yours whether you hire me or not. Act on it yourself, hand it to your team, or sit on it. There is no follow-up sequence.

How it works

Four steps, about thirty minutes.

No preparation needed. You do not have to know the technical answer, or any of the answers, before we talk.

  1. 01

    You send a short note

What the business does and what feels hardest right now. Rough notes are welcome. It comes straight to me, not to a form queue.

  2. 02

I look at what I can see

Your website, how you show up in search, and how easy you are to contact and buy from. It gives us somewhere concrete to start before you have said a word.

  3. 03

    We talk for thirty minutes

Mostly me asking where the work jams up: quoting, scheduling, follow-up, admin, and the things your team keeps redoing by hand.

  4. 04

    You get it in writing

The bottleneck named, two or three ways to widen it, and a plain verdict on whether technology is the right answer.

Before you ask

Clear before complicated.

What if I do not know what my bottleneck is?

That is the point. Most owners have a hunch, and it is often the wrong one. The questions are mine to ask. You only have to describe how the work actually goes.

Are you going to try to sell me a website?

Only if the website is genuinely the bottleneck, and often it is not. Plenty of businesses have a site quietly doing its job while the real problem is what happens after someone gets in touch.

What if the answer is not technology?

Then I will say so. Sometimes the bottleneck is a hire, a price, or a process, and no software fixes it. That is still a useful thirty minutes, and it still costs you nothing.

How is this different from a business coach?

A coach names the problem and leaves you to solve it. If the answer turns out to be technology, whether that is a website, an automation, or a tool that does not exist yet, I am the person who can build it.

What do I need to prepare?

Nothing. No reports, no numbers, no tidying up first. Come as the business actually is. That is more useful to me than a version cleaned up for the meeting.

Do I need to be on Vancouver Island?

No. I work with businesses across Vancouver Island and in Greater Vancouver, and the review happens over a call, so where you are does not change anything.

Tell me what the business does and where the work feels hardest right now. If you already know what is jammed, say that. If you do not, that is exactly what the thirty minutes is for.
